Girl Scouts Soap Making Class

Today the girls scouts made soap for the first time. We had to make something special for our mothers for the annual Mom and Me Holiday Tea, and many mothers suggested we make soap for the girls to give to there moms at the party. They wanted to give something that was useful, cool, handmade, and that smelled nice. I will update more photos of the Mom and Me Holiday Tea later during the week.

Thanksgiving Round Two (Tina's House)

As if one Thanksgiving isn't enough, we decided to do one more party with our friends. We all made tons of food and brought it over Tina's house. We began dinner at 4:30pm and stayed at Tina's house until she kicked us out, ha ha ha ha. The kids played games, and the men watched movies. Tina, Liz, and I hung out in the dining room laughing up a storm. We had so much fun, and great food, this was the best Thanksgiving we had in three years. We can't wait to do it again next year.

Thanksgiving at the American Association of Malaysia

It has been 3 years since moving to Malaysia that we didn't have a Thanksgiving dinner. We thought it would be no fun since we have no family here. This year we attended the American Association of Malaysia Thanksgiving dinner, and we are so glad we did. We had a great time, seeing many familiar faces, and many of our friends. The food was great, everyone brought in dishes that they normally served for Thanksgiving, but the best part was the dessert.

Halloween at Beverly Heights

Moving to Beverly Heights was the best thing we ever did besides moving to Malaysia. We had a great Halloween party at the club house, there were games, food, prizes, and even trick or treating.

King of the Grill

King of the grill was in town, so I luckily grabbed the last set of tickets to attend his show. I took Ramsey there for a fathers day present, because I wanted to do something different for him, and I thought he might enjoy it since he loves to BBQ. Robert Rainford put on a great show, he was very charismatic, funny, and knew how to put on a great show. We sampled the food he made and it was fantastic, it made us want to go home and BBQ. To my surprise he was very tall, he doesn't appear to be that tall on his show. We watch his show regularly now that we BBQ all the time for more ideas on what to make on the grill. No one knows how to grill better then the King of the Grill, except for Ramsey of coarse, ha ha ha ha.
