Yeah I didn't think I can do it.

I actually started swimming today. It was amazing for the first time in my life I knew how it felt not to be scared of the water. I was determined to do it, for my children. Them not having a parent who is unable to swim might cause them to drowned one day. So little by little I taught myself how to swim. I am not great at it so far. I need to work on some things of coarse, so I hired a swim instructor to help me. I start my classes on Friday, and I will write about how it went.

Singapore

We left to Singapore on December 27th, 2007. Laila and Jenin have been looking forward to this family trip for months. We took a coach bus into Singapore, it was only a five hour drive. The kids amazingly were really good on the drive there. Singapore is so clean, and everyone is so friendly, we had a great time. I really do recommend Singapore for family vacations, we had a blast.

Zidan's First Birthday

Zidan finally turned one.....Yeahhhhhhhhhhh. I didn't want the hassle of a big party, so I decided to take the family to Chili's and have a small party for Zidan. We all had a great time, and the birthday boy fell asleep during his party. He finally woke up when the staff started singing happy birthday to him. I also made him a lego birthday cake when I got home, it didn't look that good, but it sure tasted really good.
